I'm so happy with my new molcajete! Isn't it beautiful?

It's a gift from my friends and I kept touching the rock all the way home from Mexico on this last trip. The design is based on a pre-conquest molcajete.

I love it because it's so deep and there are no feet.

You can see from the jagged edges that the way it crushes food is pretty unique. A blender or food processor don't quite cut it.

Most people would be happy with one.
