Rancho Gordo was one of the first retail accounts of Big Spoon Roasters. Their small-batch nut butters knocked our socks off. Years later, Big Spoon founders Mark and Megan Overbay have come up with a new peanut spread that includes our Stoneground Chocolate from the Rancho Gordo-Xoxoc Project, and it's as delicious as you imagine.
The chocolate is hand-roasted over a wood fire on a clay comal before being ground with canela and piloncillo. It's a wonderful thing, but teaming it with artisan peanut butter is a whole new reason to rejoice.
